Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
EDI is the key to the efficiency and productivity of a medical practice or clinic. The cost of processing claims without the aid of EDI is becoming prohibitive as a percentage of fees collected. CySolutions works with its customers to deliver technology solutions that solve claims processing challenges so that they can succeed in the digital economy. HIPAA regulations are centered around the standardization of electronic claims filing and electronic data interchange in the areas of eligibility, remittance, and referral processing.
All of the systems that we sell and support meet the requirements of HIPAA and are updated to meet any new requirements well in advance of the deadline dates established by HHS.
We have established relationships with several clearinghouses including:

- MedUnite
- HBOC/McKesson
We have also built EDI interface programs for direct filing to:
- Medicare
- Medicaid
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield
...We converted demographic data from our EMR to Centricity PM, and later converted UDS and sliding fee scale data from another vendor to CySolutions. Both conversions went very well.
